Rebecca Charow

Rebecca Charow is a Research Associate at the University Health Network and a PhD student in Health Services Research at the Institute of Health Policy, Management, and Evaluation (IHPME) at the University of Toronto. She holds a MSc in Global Medicine and BSc in Health Promotion and Disease Prevention from the University of Southern California. Rebecca’s research interests include the intersection between digital health technologies, culture, and patient experience. Under the supervision of Dr. David Wiljer, she is working on a series of projects that aims to define what is means to provide compassionate care in this digital age, that is, ‘digital compassion.’
